Top UK Rhinoplasty Surgeon, Julian Rowe-Jones on: Can rhinoplasty improve your breathing?

Functional blockage

Modern rhinoplasty should preserve normal breathing, that’s fundamentally important. You don’t want an attractive nose at the expensive of nasal function, so it should not deteriorate. There are some patients, who when considering whether to have cosmetics surgery on their nose or not, will also want to address blockage and that can be done at the same time. So a good rhinoplasty surgeon and an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon should be able to deal with functional blockage problems as well as cosmetic problems all at the same time.

A Rhinoplasty Testimonial

I would like to thank Mr Julian Rowe-Jones and his fantastic team that operated on my hideously over populated polyp nose a year ago today. When I first went to the nose clinic I was unable to breathe through my nose, let alone smell, but a year on, my expenditure on lip gloss and tissues has come down considerably.

I even have a whiff of smell now and again; dog food or flowers. I don’t mind as it is a very nice surprise after not been able to smell for 29 years! I am also able to do fencing again without sounding like a charging bull!!! Thanks to you all for always making me so welcome. I will no doubt be back!
Keep up the good work.
