Julian Rowe-Jones qualified from St. Thomas’ Hospital Medical School (MB BS University of London) in 1986. He received his specialist surgical training in London teaching hospitals and became a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992.
He was awarded, in competition, a prestigious travelling fellowship by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 1996 and studied in world renowned centres of excellence in Germany. During this period and in his senior surgical training, mentored by the leading UK nasal and rhinoplasty surgeons of the time, he started to develop his fascination and specialization in the complex field of nasal plastic surgery.

He received his Certificate of Completion of Surgical Training in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery from the authorities of the Royal Medical Colleges and was appointed as Consultant Surgeon specializing in the nose to The Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Trust in 1997. He founded The Nose Clinic in 1998.
Mr Rowe-Jones FRCS (ORL) is a member of the British Association of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and an allied specialty member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He has been Vice-President of the Laryngology and Rhinology section of The Royal Society of Medicine.
Internationally recognized for rhinoplasty, he is committed to teaching and training and advancing rhinoplasty. He has been Chairman of The European Rhinoplasty Society. He also chaired the fellowship committee of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery for over 10 years. He lectures and teaches nationally and internationally including at The Milan Rhinoplasty Masterclass and at the Chicago Advances in Rhinoplasty meeting. In 2014 he will be talking in the UK, New York, Germany and Italy amongst other locations. He is currently a board member of The International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies. He has written chapters on rhinoplasty for respected medical text books and authored over 50 papers for scientific journals. Allied to nasal surgery he has contributed to numerous international meetings and courses on paranasal surgery and is involved in the development of newer, minimally invasive intra-nasal and sinus procedures. He has advised NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) on balloon sinuplasty and was a member of The Cosmetic Surgical Procedures Working Group advising the government and Department of Health on regulation in cosmetic surgery.
He co-founded myRhinoplasty London in 2012 – an international meeting to teach rhinoplasty held at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and is now working on the 2014 programme. He is currently co-authoring a new text book on rhinoplasty.
Emma Rowe-Jones RGN
Emma heads the clinics’ Patient Support Team and has been with The Nose Clinic since its inception.
She trained at The Nightingale School of Nursing at St Thomas’s Hospital in London. with her considerable experience of rhinoplasty, patients find Emma a great source of advice and support. She works with each patient to determine their aspirations regarding rhinoplasty surgery and how they feel surgery will help move their life forward.
SALLY NEAVES – PRACTICE MANAGER
Sally joined the team in 2013 as Practice Manager, and brings a wealth of experience from the private dentistry sector where she has worked in a number of different practices.
Out of work, Sally likes to travel; and when not exploring some foreign shore, is most likely to be found in a gym class or walking the dog. Sally also loves spending time with family and friends, and our patients always appreciate her friendly and welcoming manner.
Mr Abbad Toma
Mr Abbad Toma FRCS (ORL) is a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) and Facial Plastic Surgeon appointed to St George’s Hospital and Kingston Hospital NHS Trusts. From 2001 to 2004 he was Lead Clinician of the ENT department at St Georges Hospital.
He gained specialist training in rhinology and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, USA and Switzerland.
After training with eminent facial plastic surgeons in the UK, he gained further experience in nasal plastic surgery (Rhinoplasty) in Switzerland and France as Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
In 1999 he was awarded the Certificate of Completed Surgical Training from the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Mr Toma is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and Member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons, British Rhinological Society and the British Association of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Through his training, research and over 15 years of experience as a consultant specialist, he has developed a particular interest in the field of nose and sinus surgery especially Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Nasal Plastic Surgery.
