tear duct surgery / endoscopic dacrocystorhinostomy

Tears drain from the inner corner of the eye into a
tube which drains into the nose. If this tube is blocked the eye waters and tears spill onto the face. We can open the tube from inside the nose and so avoid an operation from outside that would leave a scar on the face.

cosmetic surgery for prominent eyes

Some patients with overactive thyroid glands
develop prominent eyes that bulge forward from the eye socket. We work closely with eye surgeons and can offer surgery from inside the nose to create more space for the eyes to sit back into the eye socket. This avoids scars on the face.

complex forehead / frontal sinus surgery

We are privileged to be referred cases from
other specialists for this complex surgery.

surgery for persistent nose bleeds

If simple cautery is unsuccessful or a blood vessel cannot be found as the cause of bleeding we can
clip the main nasal artery (sphenopalatine artery)
from inside the nasal passage at the back of the nose. This blood vessel is found using the sinus endoscope and is clipped or sealed with specially designed, small instruments.
